RFAC 2011
Rock For A Cause was born when a group of medical students at KJSMC (Mumbai),
inspired by the Live Aid, Live 8 and Live Earth series of concerts,
came together to convince 5 Indie Rock bands to donate their performances
with the underlying motive of drawing in their young fans
to a free diabetes mellitus screening camp organized at the concert venue by
the Udaan foundation.
Cirkles, Panic Attack, Eleventh Hour, Radial Dispersion, Sector 8

RFAC 2012
Building on the unprecedented encouraging response of the prior year,
Rock For A Cause was formalized into a not-for-profit LLP in Mumbai (India).
With German progressive rock giants, Fire on Dawson, pledging their patronage,
jazz fusion jam band, Something Relevant, jumped in with their djembes, enabling RFAC to set their sights on a bigger production supported by VH1 to fundraise for
the Indian NGO - Child Rights and You (C.R.Y.)
